My name is Pam Torres and I’m a writer, a grandma, a teacher and now the author of a new book called, Madison Morgan: When Dogs Blog. This is no ordinary middle grade adventure and Madison is no ordinary girl. More about that later. I want to share with you why I wrote it. The quote above sums up my view on our responsibility towards the animals in our lives. Unfortunately, not everyone shares that view.

       It was my granddaughter’s love of dogs that inspired my story. But, it wasn’t until my research that I realized how many abandoned, mistreated or unwanted dogs needed homes, that is when I decided this was more than just a book. And so Project Madison was born. I hope you’ll join our journey as we bring awareness and

support to those who rescue, heal, train and care

for these animals.
